Another month is upon us and sure enough, there’s another contents update from A.V.A. I’ve been anxiously anticipating this update for a while because it will hopefully fix the lag issues, currently being experienced here in North America. In addition, a ping filter is being introduced. So hopefully, by Friday evening, we’ll all be playing A.V.A. lag free and with awesome hit registration. As much as I like this game, I must admit, I have been getting a bit tired of getting pwned by folks with 1000 ms pings. You see, the anti-lag punishes low pingers like myself. Anyone with stratospheric pings seem to spot their targets so much earlier and the end result is that many times, you don’t even see who shot you.
By using such a filter, we’ll hopefully be allowed to create games with small ping differentials. Gameplay should be much better and approach the quality seen in Korea.

In addition to the ping filter and a hoped-for fix for the lag problem, I know that all the Snipers out there are looking forward to the new map. Here’s a first look at what is in store:
The map has already been in play over in Asia, but it will be new to us here in NA.
Over on the event channel, the old-faithful Demolition map Black Scent will be featured. For all you guys trying to get Euros, the bonus offered on the event channel is the fastest way to wealth and fortune.

We’re having a monthly contents update this Friday, Nov 18th.
There is going to be a new map WINDMILL for SNIPER Mode (Warfare Annihilation & Suppression AI mode)! We’re also introducing new weapons and maps as usual.
During this time, the servers will be temporarily unavailable.In this update:
