From what I've heard MS Flight will be taking off on the 29th of Feb. The game will only be available from their official website - I don't know of any other means of distribution. The website is as follows: http://www.microsoft.com/games/flight/

While the game is F2P, the Flight team has announced that their Hawaiian Adventure Pack, including the remaining Hawaiian Islands, a new plane and 20 new missions, will be available to purchase the same day through Games for Windows—LIVE. Check out this reference.

I use a G500 along with an Ergonomic Mouse mouse called DXT. Using both of them really helps with my rsi.

I don't agree that its impossible for a game to have a complex and emotional story. It maybe true for the FPS, since its the genre that mostly exists to provoke basic emotions.
But there are tons of games with very complex storylines and very emotionally developed characters. just to name a few:
Metal gear Solid - very emotional game(s), with better written story line and characters than 99% of the movies. And also the game with probably the most complex gameplay out there.
Then games like Heavy Rain, indigo prophecy, Alan Wake.
Than you have games like silent hill, fatal frame, from the horror genre. And of course the genre with the most complex story lines, RPG. With games like The Witcher, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Final Fantasy and many many more. All of which are single player only, and some of them take more than 100 hours to complete. And have very complex branching story lines, very developed characters. Some of them even have their own mythology, history, religions, different languages for their races... and all in such detail it can almost be compared to some of the Tolkien's books. Some of them do suffer from simplistic shooter-ish gameplay ( like mass effect ) but some can be much more complex like the witcher ( especially on higher difficulties ) or final fantasy or even dragon age. And many more I did not mention here.

Yeah, I've been watching Hawken for a bit now, it's the one game on your list that has me interested. I crave something different, if I'm ever going to play another multiplayer FPS game again. This one might win me back. Thanks for the list Bud.

Yeah, very sad to see them go. Understandable though. Current AAA FPS games just don't hit the imagination like the old ones did. Games like Skyrim do. And, Skyrim in particular has mod tools, very good ones, as icing on the cake.

Since I started taking arrows in the knees also, I can't even imagine playing a current online FPS game anymore. The thought literally makes me cringe. Maybe it's because games like Skyrim bring back that old school fun that we all used to enjoy in PC Gaming.

Add to it, the fact that I am enjoying the community of Skyrim, with all the excellent mods that are already out, and the new FPS games seem to fall flat and feel lame.

But, anyway, good luck to the Monkeys, and Xiao in particular.

Our company owns several G500 mice. Slowly but steadily, the cables on these mice are beginning to fail in exactly the same way as is described here.

The braided mouse cord kinks up or bends/breaks, after which the mouse intermittently disconnects during normal operation.

On all of our G500 mice, the middle mouse button has stopped working over time, obviously well below the 8 million clicks stated on the product page. Often already within weeks of purchase.

To make matters worse, we're getting a lot of pushback from Logitech Customer Support, who are dodging replacement of the mice despite the fact that they are within factory warranty and are clearly showing manufacturing faults. Instead, we are given the run-around and are sent to the retailers. I'm not sure if this is a justified argument but it certainly isn't a lot of help.

These mice cost a lot of $$.
.. I don't mind spending $$ on a product, provided it is reliable.
.. I don't mind an unreliable product, if the service is good.
But at some point you have to draw the line.

Long story short, for an $80 mouse, you would expect better service but based on personal experience, I suspect that many of Logitech's top-of-the-line models (such as the G500) are just booby-trapped money makers. YMMV.

Just ordered a shipment of Steelseries Xai as mentioned by a previous poster. Thanks for the tip!
